Our Budget Our Future Coalition: Summer Seaside Social

Spend an afternoon with your neighbors for a Summer Seaside Social presented by the Our Budget, Our Future Coalition, anchored by ÓRALE, Long Beach for a Just Economy , LiBRE, Long Beach Community Land Trust, and Californians for Justice. We’ll be enjoying the summer sun and we’ll have opportunities to connect, have fun, and learn more about how the Long Beach city budget impacts our community. We’ll also be providing food, so please complete our RSVP form and let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Visit our interactive budget stations to share your ideas for what Long Beach should invest in, learn how to make public comment, discuss how the budget impacts you, and discover ways to get involved in shaping the City’s future. Enjoy art activities, games, a book swap, and connect with local organizations as we imagine a Long Beach city budget that reflects our community’s needs. 

Bring a blanket, chair, or a book to swap, and connect with local organizations as we help imagine a strong future for Long Beach! This is a family-friendly event welcome to children of all ages and we’ll have activities for kids to join in the fun!
