Membership Coordinator
Diana Saavedra is the Membership Coordinator and is deeply committed to equitable development and housing justice. Born and raised in Southern California, she spent six years in the Bay Area earning her Bachelor’s in Ethnic Studies and Master’s in Environmental Justice, where her research focused on community-led development as a tool to combat displacement and gentrification in low-income and historically marginalized neighborhoods.
With a background in community outreach, education, advocacy, and relationship-building, Diana is passionate about empowering residents and fostering collaborative, community-led solutions. She is dedicated to advancing the community land trust movement in Long Beach, ensuring that development serves, rather than displaces, its most vulnerable communities.
