LBCLT Monthly Meeting- November

Join LBCLT on the third Tuesday of each month! This is where our community comes together to learn about CLT news, organize for action, and connect with neighbors, friends, and allies. These gatherings are the heart of our work to ensure your voice guides the CLT’s work to secure permanently affordable homes and prevent displacement in Long Beach. All are welcome!

This month’s meeting is the perfect introduction for newcomers and a great refresher for all. We’ll be laying the foundation of our movement together.

We’ll break down the essentials of the Community Land Trust model. What is it, how does it work, and why is it a powerful tool for creating lasting affordable housing and community control in Long Beach. We’ll also engage in guided activities to collectively explore and define what the core ideas of Community, Land, and Trust mean to us.
