“Building Relationship to Place” Nature Walk- Summer
June 27 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Join Long Beach CLT for our fourth nature walk with Tecolote of Mama Maiz & Flora y Tierra. “Building Relationship to Place” is a 4-part series honoring the seasons and 4 directions where we’ll visit local native plant restoration sites throughout Long Beach together and walk with, reflect beside, and taste local native plants!
We’ll come together to explore coastal native plants and the shoreline. After the walk, we invite you to stay awhile at the park where we’ll celebrate the summer season with snacks, good company, and a shared vision for future workshops and walks rooted in the same love for the land and our community.
About Tecolote:
With over a decade of experience, Tecolote has served their community as an herbalist, birthworker, community care practitioner, naturalist, land tender, and mentor. On this path rooted in traditional medicine and practices, Tecolote has built relationships with the land and their community through plant medicine, mutual aid, and reclamation of our relationship with the outdoors.
