Nelida Gonzales was born in Peru and has called Long Beach home for the past 30 years. For more than 24 years, Nelida has gained experience, particularly in understanding and supporting people with disabilities. She has been learning and growing, and now she is motivated to help other mothers navigate similar paths. Nelida believes that while one can never know everything, one can learn enough to make a significant difference. Her hopes for the CLT focus on seeing plans come to fruition, particularly in ways that benefit those who need it most. She is passionate about helping others and being an active part of the community.
In her free time, she enjoys creating floral arrangements, knitting, and engaging in other creative activities. One of her greatest passions is cooking, especially Peruvian cuisine. It’s not just a hobby; it’s something she has perfected over the years and mastered.
